There are two types of people in this world:
There's me, Gem Phillips, a purple-haired, antisocial writer who works at the Little Rose Ice Cream Shop. I'm an ice cream person, obviously.
And then there's him, Finn Collins, a gorgeous, snarky, in-your-business, unwanted yet needed roommate of mine who works at Yogurt for You. He's a frozen yogurt guy.
We shouldn't get along. We should hate each other. And yet, I can't help but think that, behind the annoying frozen yogurt exterior, beats a heart synchronized to mine... but does he feel it too?

He brushed his lips against my jaw, his dark hair falling over his brow. "Open your eyes," he commanded. "Look at me." I followed his orders and looked into the raven-black depths before me. I saw my entranced gaze reflected in his glaring one. "Tell me what you see." I kept on looking at him, searching for something, anything, that remained of the person he used to be. They say the eyes are the windows to the soul. But his eyes were so dark, so empty . . . "Nothing. I see nothing," I whispered. He smirked, his gaze still on me. He pulled away, leaving me feeling cold. "Exactly. You see nothing - that's because there's nothing there." ** How much can a person change in just three years? Short and full of fiery spirit, Hanna Jordan is a gifted college student who is enrolled in one of the most prestigious culinary programs in the country. She's just returned from three years of study in France and is anxious to reconnect with her longtime friend, Rian Aronhalt. Despite their differences, both are haunted by dark memories of the past, which form a poisonous bond between Hanna and Rian that neither can escape from. Can they both heal from the scars time left behind, and find love in the process?

Ailee ate her ice cream licking every bit of it and then Xavier pushed his cup infront of her. She looked confusingly at him. "Eat." "No you eat. Its yours" "Coco I don't really love it." She gasped loudly putting her hand on her mouth. "How can anyone NOT love chocolates?" she said giving him side eyes but accepted his offering nevertheless. He just shook his head watching her eat happily like a kid. ➶➶➶➶➶➶➶➶➶➶ 𝘚𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘧𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘦, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘥𝘥𝘦𝘯 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥. His tough tone resonated in my senses while I tried comprehending what his question like statement meant. E-excuse me?!! What do you mean by 'why are you like this'... I am like this because of Ice Cream?!! I mean if he is asking about my chubbiness then.. Avi be serious and give him a tough response!! Yess Avi show him what he asked was opposing!! "Why are you so naive, innocent, careless and a lot stubborn?!!" His voice in start was gentle but till it's end it became more hard and grudging, I am like this because I want to be so just try to be polite next time!! This is what I thought but what I actually spoke was "Uh..Hmm?" He walked towards the cupboard and opened the first drawer which was visible from here as he picked something from it and closed the drawer. "Promise!" I looked into his orbs in confusion as his steel like gaze was fixed onto my eyes yet it was not what it usually is.. A cold thing came in contact of my skin grasping my attention away from those gorgeous eyes, Neil's hand was grasping my hand tenderly. One hand beneath and the other one top of the thing on my palm hiding it from my view! My eyes widened upon a soft tender touch onto my forehead, I gazed him who was still placing a kiss on my forehead! I glanced at my palm. "Why?!!" I spoke breathlessly as my breath heavied..I looked up at Neil with my teary orbs and shivering form unable to speak or ask anything. "Promise" "Promise to Care for your own-self!!"
