Whatever happens always happens for the best, but is that really true?
Eighteen-year-old Stassi Davis has just graduated high school with no clue what she wants to pursue. Finally deciding on a major, she and her friend head out to chilly Michigan to start their college journey as roommates. One would think having starting college and having their friend by their side would be fun and exciting, right? Well, not in this case. When Stassi starts seeing odd signs, someone following her constantly, and her health declining, she knows something is very wrong. After she finds out she plays a major role in a battle between the strongest supernatural group to ever exist, things soon turn chaotic as her new identity is discovered and a budding romance triangle is beginning to form. Fearful and apprehensive for her life, the next couple of months are a whirlwind that changes her life to the difficult task she has been given.
Will she be able to pull it off, or will she go tumbling down when her secret society needs her the most?
