Eva White, a normal looking teenager, shares her life events as she explains how they have a strong impact on her. She explains how it feels when you're anxious and depressed but you can't admit it. She also describes all the times when she tried to take her own life. She remarks her motivations and inspirations and how they proved 'HELPFUL' AND 'HELPLESS' at the same time. Every word that is said, means so much to her. Every moment in her life, has affected her deeply. She shares her experience when she is overwhelmed and describes her interactions with family, friends and other people. She also explains how this all, helped her to be strong and steadfast.

Eva returns home from camp and faces the truth of what she did. Along the way, she faces her abusive ex-boyfriend and proves how strong she is. She learns of all the horrible things he's done to others and finds out that by speaking up, she will help in the court case; in doing so, she meets so many other people who have been influenced by the actions of her ex-boyfriend and how she has a vast community around her supporting her now. Once she finishes high school and moves away, she builds a new community with those same people. She learns to not allow her past to define her identity.
