A flash of lightning is all it took to turn Takeo Ruka's life upside-down. Despite the sudden change in her life, Ruka settles into the slow, primeval lifestyle with the help of kind, warm-hearted people of a village. While everything seems plain and simple in the beginning, complications soon arise one after the other, rousing unsettling emotions and situations.
Offering a moment of unbiased concern and help to a stranger soon turns Ruka into a prisoner, locked away in frightening luxury she cannot escape from. When she's about to give up on ever being happy again, she sees a silver lining.
It is then that she realizes that some things are not just what they seem to be on the outside. With truths slowly uncovering, Ruka soon finds the place she wants to be in and the person she wants to be with. But the question is, is she strong enough to overcome the overwhelming obstacles thrown at her that threatens everything she wishes to gain?
