“I have heard there was a disruption,” He said and I shivered at his voice. “I have to admit,” He continued. “I am surprised that it is a mortal.”
Suddenly he stepped forward and raised the tip of his spear to my neck the tip digging into my skin. He smirked at my discomfort.
He stared at me, looking into my eyes. While he started at me I felt a piercing pain in my head then it disappeared. “You may be of some use to me.” He stated and drew the spear away from me. “I will spare your life but you are indebted led to me.”
I stared blankly at him wondering who he was.
As if reading my thoughts he spoke answering me, “I am Loki of Asgard and I am here to rule your pitiful kind.” He told me with a sense of purpose. “And what might your name be?”
	“I-I-I’m Hazel.” I stuttered out.
He smiled and traced a cold finger down my jaw. “Beautiful name, love.”
	“Thanks.” I said quietly.
“Turn around, love.” He commanded. Not wanting to get on his bad side I turned around.
I jumped when something cold touched my skin and looked down to see that Loki had put an amulet on me. “This will be your reminder. Til we meet again, love.” He said then disappeared leaving me alone and confused.

The people of Asgard are looking for a new home. They get a warm welcome on Earth, except for Loki. He is treated like a criminal of war, a terrorist. All they see in him is darkness. But there is a light, if she is up for the task. "Nooo I don't want it to end!!!! [...] This has been my motivation to get my uni coursework done so I can read. He is holding something that looks like a big syringe in his hands. "Yoohoo... Reindeer games! You home? I've got something for you!" The man stops in his tracks when he spots us sitting on the couch. "I'm sorry, I didn't realise we had company. And beautiful company at that, I might say. What's your name, beautiful? Do you have clearance? Williams, does she have clearance?" [...] Tony Stark walks over to me and takes my hand, standing just a little closer than necessary. "Nice to meet you, mr Stark." I reply, taking my hand back gingerly. [...] From the corner of my eye I can see that Loki has turned his chair to face the room, watching the exchange between me and Tony Stark with a hint of a smile on his face. I get the sense that there's not much that gets past the Trickster. Mr. Stark has already moved on, walking towards Loki. He is holding up the syringe like it's a Super Soaker gun, waving it back and forth. "This will only hurt a little, Bambi!" Tony laughs. First published February 2018. Edited april 2018. ' She breathed in deeply, picking up on a faint and fresh scent of mint on him. "Even if it's only me, is that enough for you?" Loki purred with a knowing smile, still hugging her tightly, "am I enough for you?" Pulling her head away from his chest, she looked up into his eyes. They were much closer than she'd ever seen them before. Blues and greens danced in his irises, and the emotion of love was strongly defined around his being. "Even if only one will see me, it is enough," she confirmed quietly, "but you...are more than enough." She wasn't sure why the breath caught in her throat, or why she found herself nearly speechless under his charming gaze. And he wasn't sure how she'd managed to get under his skin and into his heart, but there was no doubting that fact. The joy on Loki's face at hearing that he was more than enough for this woman made her feel as though she were flying through space. ' • • • She crashed into Earth with no memories at all. Until a familiar face brought everything back. Being more powerful than the God of Mischief himself, she was charged with the mission of gaurding Loki during his imprisonment in the Avengers Tower. Emotions blossom where they never could before as fate brings Loki and this woman closer than ever. • • • Takes place some time after the first Avengers film. ♡
