I saw all the other girls passing a ball around in the deeper end of the pool, I longed to take my floats off and swim around the deeper end.

After the ball flew into no-mans land I rushed to get it and have fun with my friends. After I picked up the ball I served it.

I was drowning. I knew that. I also knew that the hands around my throat, pushing me deeper into the river water was the cause. What I didn't know was who was drowning me and why. It hurt thinking.
