A FATHER'S LOVE KNOWS NO BOUNDS A story I submitted to a short story competition, where they provided you with a genre, subject, and the main character. The competition was divided into three waves and I (sadly) didn't get past the first wave. I was given for the main character a "sick toddler", and for genre thriller and for the subject "angry mob". Yikes, I don't write thrillers and I knew nothing about mobs so I did my research and watched Goodfellas and a documentary on Netflix about the Irish mob. I was very proud of it and was so crushed for not even getting past the first part of the competition and 45 bucks went down the toilet. Please do enjoy!
