Laurien has been imprisoned deep within the dungeons of the murderous Blood Court for over a century. He committed a crime of heroism attempting to save the courts of Faerie from the wicked Queen Semira, and paid a terrible price.
Laurien has sworn revenge against the wicked Blood Court, and its even more so wicked Queen. But In order to take his revenge he must escape from impossible odds.
After the aid of surprising allies Laurien begins his journey of revenge only to be met with a world at war.
He must fight to restore the balance that has long since been broken between the fairy courts. If he stands any chance of defeating the malicious Blood Court, he will need their aid.
He is plagued by a voice in his head that often leads him astray. It speaks of murder and malice. He must resist the tantalizing temptations of the voice all the while attempting to survive the pursuits of the Blood Court, the threat of the faerie monarchs, and an arena of combat that will seek to claim his life.
Can he bring balance to the Faerie courts and convince them to fight alongside him against the might of the Blood court? Or will he fail and be forced to face a lifetime in darkness once again...
