(I'm not good at these... bare with me it's my first fanfic! Hope you like it! The first couple of chapters is basically a prologue so it's a bit slow. I'm also correcting mistakes here and there so plz critique!) Ariana Grande has yet to survive her torturous high school years. She wished she could just be an average 17 year old girl. Everybody bullied her for her looks and her brains without knowing her inner self. They called her the biggest nerd in the whole school. Although she was the smartest in her grade- she definitely wasn't the most popular. The biggest problem for her was speaking. Even though she was just starting to warm up to it, she would very rarely talk. She lived with her abusive uncle since she was 6. Her whole family died in a plane crash. Ariana and three other people managed to survive without many injuries. Ever since then she didn't see the reason to speak- she thought people just wouldn't understand. The only hope for her was a miracle, her only friend Kendall, her inspiration (one direction), and of course, fortune cookies. One day her whole life change because of her best friend Kendall, an inspiration, and of course, fortune cookies. The story takes place in California and starts in May.
