This gave him the chance to start anew under a new identity and separate himself from Oni, with the help of Miranda Keyes and some friends up top, he was given a mission to observe Project Freelancer. Miranda believed that the project could do good but also harm so she assigned him to infiltrate and observe. But if they prove to be trouble then he has permission to dismantle Project Freelancer.
