Eight years ago, when John Laurens was 10 years old, he went to Creekside Park to avoid his abusive homophobic father's daily scolding for him being gay.
But once there, he met a caring, understanding friend named Alex (also 10) who felt what John was going through.
Everyday, those two would meet up at Creekside on the swings until one day John stopped coming. Alex was sad; he liked John; but he soon forgot about it.
Now, Alex is graduating Highschool and going into Kings College at 18 years old. What happens when he see's that his roommate is John?
How could he approach him? Will he remember him?
Maybe a history project, some eager friends, a bully, and a rough childhood will be the key to unlocking their past and their future.
