While we were walking, I felt a hand grab my wrist and pull me into a corner. I turned, surprised, to see Daniel standing over me. He suddenly wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into a hug. I was shocked for a second, but i returned it. my neck sent chills down my spine. "N-no problem." I said, still trying to wrap my brain around what is happening right now. He releases me,smiling and the sight of him makes my knees go weak. I'm lucky I still remained standing or i would have collapsed on the floor. "Well we better head back.." he says, still in a soft whisper. All I can manage is to smile and nod.

I was walking to the grocery store when I thought some one was following me I turned around and saw no one there so I brushed it off by the way my name is Lara and I was being followed by someone my whole life! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I WAS about to turn the corner when someone grabbed me and used their hands to cover mt mouth. I struggled and managed to push the person off and started sprinting down the street, yelling 'HELP'. I turned back to get a glance at the man who attacked me. I saw his face and it was Der!!! "What the hell Derek!"I shouted " I was scared shit-less that it was a kidnapper or murderer or gang member" It was NYC, who knew what happens at night and what kind of dangerous people are out there. "Shh"he said and covered my mouth. I bit his hand and he removed his hand from my mouth. "Ah, what was that for?" he yelled, his eyes getting darker as he pouted and rubbed his hand. "I don't know what you're up to but you're so being dumped"I told him. He was acting crazy and it was driving me insane because he wasn't telling me anything. He growled and ran towards him with his hands out wide to try and grab me, but I turned and kicked him in the leg as he fell to the ground. "Ha take that I took karate" I said proudly as he was groaning. I was a black belt student. I started sprinting when I turned the corner I saw Derek again with his eyes as dark as the night sky. What happened to his blue eyes?! "But you w-we-were- right there and n now you're here what? and w what happened to your eyes?"I kept stuttering. "Gabby why didn't you just tell me." He says and I know what he means Looking down at the ground I shook my head and say "I couldn't." I stand up and begin walking over to the big window. "Why Gabby? I'm not the one to judge." He says following me Turning to him I look closely studying him while his vehement stare was also on me. "J I didn't want you to look at me like a charity case. I can handle myself and I did very well for what was handed to me and what I had. Just please don't think of me different and don't look at me different." I say Coming up to me he wraps his arms around me and says "Gabriella I would never, how did this even happen to you?" Once again I stare at the ground "Jase one day, when I'm ready I will tell you." He slowly nods his head and kisses my forehead. As he continues to hold me a tear slips from my eye and I just allow myself to let the pain that was built up inside escape once and for all. "B... Bryce?" I said quietly between my light sobs. He didn't answer me. He looked dangerous. His hands covered in blood, his jaw damaged, his eyes... I didn't know, what exactly I saw in them, but I knew, there was nothing good. I realized, I might be in danger myself. I had no idea of what is going on in his mind. I started walking away, keeping my body close to the wall behind me. I stumbled on some trash, but gained my balance back, never leaving the sight of him - now, a total stranger, in front of me. He slowly followed me, his eyes registering every movement I made. They looked predatory, all his appearance looked like it. Following every movement of his pray. And I knew that pray was me. Some cries left my dry lips. I couldn't hold in anymore of this tension. I turned around and started to run, run away from this place, away from him. Before I could make some steps, I felt my upper arm grabbed strongly. I let out a scream and desperately tried to free myself from his strong grip. Bryce took my other arm and made me face him. My heart dropped in my stomach, as I saw his hard stare. I stopped for a second, but then tried to get myself away from him again. "Stop trying! You are not going anywhere!" I heard his voice, which was said through his clenched teeth. He momentarily turned me around and grabbed my hole upper body and wrapped his strong arms around me, making it impossible to move my hands and myself. I started to scream again, but again, his fast movements stopped me. I felt him squeeze me tighter. He lifted me up from the ground a bit and put his large hand on my mouth. That made my panic rise even more. I was so afraid. I had no idea of what he is going to do with me. Is he going to kill me? I felt his head resting against my head, his breath touching the top of my ear, sending a strong shiver of fear through my body. I couldn't see anything, as my eyes were filled with endless streams of tears.Concluida
