After spending the school year in the Pacific Northwest soul searching and accidentally solving murders, Lacy Calvin is ready for a change of pace. So when her ex-boyfriend calls her to see if she wants to star in his newest movie in New York, she decides to get back into the acting game. It doesn't hurt that Jason Wu, the co-worker who inspired as much frustration as passion in her, is also working in New York for the summer. When the movie gets delayed, Lacy is left looking for a way to keep busy in the city while Jason is working and finds herself in the last place she wanted to be: on a reality TV show. The only thing scarier than the tiny costumes and sizzling hatred she has for her dance partner on "Celebrity Dance off" is the fact someone keeps mysteriously sabotaging the contestants. What started out as silly pranks such as stolen shoes and laxatives in contestant's coffee drinks soon turns more violent. The police start to look into the crimes, but they decide early on that the perpetrator is Hollywood's most famous bad girl, Lacy Calvin. As she digs a little deeper, Lacy discovers there is something much bigger going on than messing up a dance competition. Left with her reputation on the line, Lacy is forced to find out who the saboteur is herself, before someone else gets hurt.  This is the third book in an ongoing series. Do not even attempt to read it if you have not read the first two.... because it won't make sense.
