(Y/N) feels like any other 20 year old in the modern world, lost and confused. She lives by herself in her own apartment, her only friend being her downstairs neighbor, Mrs. Thompson. When she finally feels like she's taken control, a dark force interferes and crushes any dreams of a normal life.
"Why me!? Why did you choose me??" You yell, holding back your tears. He falls silent, not expecting your reaction.
"You seemed fun to play with." His mouth stretches even farther, showing off the forced smile that adorns his face. It makes you sick.
"I'm not just some plaything." You spit. "I'm a person! With a life to live! If you feel like ruining it, just go ahead and kill me right here." You feel rage bubbling up inside of you.
"Nonsense, beautiful, I'm not quite done with you." He closes the space between the two of you.
