Basically After the end Tord kidnapped Tom and brainwashed him. The only knowledge Tom had was the basics you learn in school (history,science,math,etc.) He also knows what the Red Army is and who Tord is. It's almost like he trained Tom into knowing his purpose was to let Tord know he was his and his only, and protect Tord no matter what.(basically they're married now) He's Tord's personal bodyguard. Tom helps with scheduling as well. (To go with the Red Empire Tom works to help design the ads and model for them)
