So, she must make an army out of children to protect what's left of humanity from the evil that lurks in the shadows of both humans and non-humans.

Forty years ago, the world ended at the hands of the Monarch of the Abyss, such a being spread it's accursed powers across the world and brought humanity to the brink of extinction. Forty years later a new hero appears, bearing a scarily familiar power, he'll endure many burdens in a bid to learn more about himself and those he works with in this corrupt society where heroes are revered as gods among men and all logic is replaced with propaganda. A threat from within their own walls threatens to tear humanity apart from the shadows, the heroes will need to overcome both the monsters beyond their walls and threats from their own people in order to prevail, humanity's fate will soon be at hand, will it be salvation or oblivion?
