Harry Potter never had the stable home and social life he longed for. His abusive uncle, aunt, and cousin had never been the sympathetic type, especially when it came to the wizarding world.
When Harry had gone to Hogwarts for the first year, he was accompanied by an intelligent witch, Hermione Granger, humorous wizard, Ron Weasley, and an intriguing wizard by the name of Draco Malfoy. Draco and Harry started off as friends, soon to be known as enemies when Draco began to act aggressive to the raven-haired boy.
Over rocky years at Hogwarts, Draco begins to let his guard down, confusing Harry at the change of heart. Tension in the wizarding world will continue to drag the boys apart, endangering the chance of civil behavior between the two. Will they be able to mend and build their relationship to be more than they thought possible with the magic bonding them or will they be torn apart from the chaos swirling around them?
Disclaimer : I, obviously, do not own Harry Potter. This is a Drarry ship; some events in the original works will be shifted. This story will not run along the lines of J.K. Rowling's books and will break off at times to a different way Voldemort will be ended. The cover of this story is not made by me. This story includes mature language. Thank you, I hope you enjoy!

This is a slow-burn romance and redemption Drarry fic written by a touch-starved queer person with a newly rekindled love for Paramore and MCR. Enemies-to-lovers always hits different when 'Playing God' is in the soundtrack! Get ready for Draco 'overthinking is my therapy' Malfoy, Harry 'not settling for less' Potter, nonbinary Hermione, and supportive best friend Ron, with appearances of 'awkward big brother' Bill and other notable Weasleys. Explicit consent and content warnings are important to me. This fic is mostly a safe space, with warnings added to relevant chapters (there's no SA/abuse in general). Headcanon Premise: Harry and Draco were always in love or at least attracted to each other, even during (and partly because) of Draco's bullying. This story is 99% canon-compliant and fits in as supplemental material for the original books. Toxic love story with a happy ending. Hogwarts Years 1 - 8 ⚠️Hogwarts Era smut⚠️ [Available also on AO3 and FF] WIP Status: Letters and Foreword were revised; Year 8 is being prepared. This is a Harry/Draco romance set in the canon HP universe, covering all seven years of schooling as a series of Memory Vials. This fic is presented more like Deleted Scenes than a Rewrite, following the plot of their romance instead of Harry's quest to defeat Voldemort. Everyone is mostly in character (hopefully), and Draco is the troubled little shit you know and love but with more dimension added to his character. A movie depiction might be preferred in my version, but it's recommended you read along with the original books to avoid loss of context, unless you read them already, which should be enough. This fic is roughly 99% canon compliant, while allowing for artistic license and changes here and there, also scrapping the original epilogue. Content Warning: language, smut, mature themes and situations, alcohol/substance use, homophobic bullying and harassment, conversion therapy, morally ambiguous situations, tactical omniscient head-hopping, and pretentious poetry. An 8th year Drarry fic where Harry barely speaks anymore, but Draco doesn't need words to understand him. After spending the summer together and beginning their relationship, it's time for Harry and Draco to transition back to Hogwarts. Both men know continuing their relationship isn't going to be easy, but nothing good ever is. Can they keep their relationship hidden from not only their friends, but the wizarding world as a whole until they're ready to come out? Can they, along with their friends, end house prejudices for good, and finally unite Hogwarts? Sequel to my story Ghosts, but my goal is that this can be read as a stand alone book.
