  His face held no emotion except serenity. His lips were curved upward in a barely-there smile and his eyes were clear as a day at sea. 

	And then, it came near- his face- until his nose was but inches from mine. And then breathing was a thing of the past. 

	"You should be scared." He whispered, his breath smacking my face like punches from cupid. My eyes fluttered closed on their own accord, as if he stared into them for much longer, he would be able to see what screaming emotion was twirling about in my stomach. He said in the same sultry voice, "But you don't have to be." 

	Then he pushed his lips against mine and the world dripped through my fingers like sand.

    I'll try to explain who I was before I met the Rider brothers. I led a somewhat secluded life, never questioning my morals and swearing by the rules. Little did I know I would become a truck-stealing, skinny dipping, high-on-life teenager. But trust came with change, and I had never really learned how to trust. There never was a reason to trust, but when I moved to my hometown, Los Angeles, I realized that I did have a reason. That reason? Simple.

    The Rider twins.
