Sebastian, or Seb, Hart was a two hundred and sixty year old vampire who was turned at the age of twenty by another named Gavin, the oldest vampire he knew of. He doesn't know much about his kind, he never had the will to. He didn't want to be this way anyway, but there was nothing to be done now. He decided to just live with it, he decided to just make the most of it. But there's one thing holding him back, his own mind.
Vampires are creatures made with thick skin and immortal bodies.
But the mind is not immortal.
Sebastian is slowly losing his mind, something some vampires can't stop. They slowly go insane and no one knows why. No one knows how to stop it.
Vampires who have lost their sanity lose their heads, figuratively and literally.
They're killed before they have the opportunity to kill.
An insane vampire, is a deadly vampire. They have no feelings, they just aren't capable of them anymore.
Micah Shaw is a twenty five year old police detective. He's investigating a case that seems to revolve around Sebastian and neither of them can figure out why he's part of it. Micah is going to get to the bottom of it though, he knows he's going to solve this case no matter the consequences.
But what if these consequences are more deadly than he could ever imagine?
Can Sebastian save himself or is he going to lose himself?
