In this world there is darkness hidden behind every corner.
In her world she is alone, her family gone; friends are not an option.
Her one companion is her bonded, a black stallion named Nocte.
Evangeline once had a family, a special kind of family. Their people are called the Vincula; they are all born different and when they come of age they get a bonded. A bonded is an animal that is essentially apart of their soul, their other half. As other people found out about the Vincula people and their bonded, they grew jealous of what they had. So then the Venatores became a part of the Vincula's daily lives, or more so their deaths. The Venatores believed that being able to have a bonded was completely unnatural and began to hunt down the Vincula's one by one. Evangeline, who lived a humble life, was thrown into a world of chaos when they came for her family leaving her the last heir of the Amare family.
Join Evangeline and Nocte on their journey through the chaos and their quest for justice.

A 14 year old girl named Sara in 8th grade starts getting bullied badly. No one wants to hang out with her and she has no friends. Her best friend, Sophie, moved to Tennessee and that was the only friend she had. One day on the way home from school she encounters a beautiful black stallion. This horse was very special and came into Sara's life for a reason. This horse teaches Sara the true meaning of friendship. This story is definitely one you want to read and it can even teach you some life lessons. Some of these things actually relates to my life. Obviously I never randomly encountered a horse but I do love horses and I hope to have one soon. I also get bullied very badly. This book is in 1st person and I definitely think you should read it. "Hey," I said cautiously, scared to make the first move. Thankfully, I didn't have to make it. Luca stepped forward and took me by the waist, pulling me close to him. A jealous snarl ripped from Anthony's chest. Did he just growl? What the hell's going on here?! Luca leaned closer to me, ignoring Anthony. "I'm not good with words like these. But you know that, Mavis." He smiled gently while his eyes filled with an emotion - love?- that caused butterflies in my stomach. A warm feeling surrounded my heart. Did it just speed up? "So, this is the only way I can describe it." He suddenly leaned his head down and captured my lips in a long kiss. It was gentle, yet harsh. He claimed my lips as his own, taking complete control. He made a possessive noise into the kiss. making my heart fill with affection. I was suddenly jerked from him and a second body wrapped around me possessively. It was Anthony. And he looked pissed. Mavis, a young teenage human girl, lived a life of normalcy with her five best friends. But when these men reveal their true forms and claim her as their mate, she realizes the world is filled with not just humans, but hidden supernaturals. I WROTE THIS IN MIDDLE SCHOOL. ITS CRINGEY READ AT YOUR OWN RISK Poor Izzie Stevens thought it was bad enough that her dad was an alcoholic but he agreed to give up alcohol long enough to teach her how to drive.She is 13 years old but when her dad leaves her alone to test drive the thing that happens next may have Izzie fighting for her life. But then when she is saved she finds her one true love Joseph. Joseph and Izzie are only hardly even distant relatives.When they met a few years ago they didn't know they were related. Will they be able to save Izzie during her long hard fought journey?Will they ever get to live a peaceful life together? Will Izzie die before she gets true love or will she live to get the true love of her life that she wants? Both Joseph and Izzie are musicians in school but no where else. Will they still get music or will it be all over? Will they get sports they do together or is that gone to? "She's right! She's right! I don't cut in the right spot." My hold tightens on my wrist. The red blood oozes out of my wrist. I slide up and grab my bag and run out of the bathroom. I don't care if people can see the blood I just want to get out. I race for the doors and shove through people. I earn a lot of glares and glances that read "weirdo." I ignore and push. I run to my house and lock myself in my bathroom. I don't bother closing the front door cause I don't care if people come in to kill me. I grab my razor and cut deep cuts into my arm and wrists falling into a pool of my own blood. • • • Evangeline has a great life. Friends? Check! Good grades? Check! Loving family? Check! But what if she has secrets that nobody knows of? What if the only thing she can trust is her secret diary? What if slowly but surly she's dying inside? How can an innocent twelve year old deal with these problems? Will she keep on facing these problem till the day she breaks.
