In the eastern part of Oregon live four packs, led by a single werewolf. Sisters Bryn and Wynter Atori are a part of the Lumex pack. When her werewolf comes alive, Bryn feels wild and alive, the beautiful forest a welcoming beckon to her. As a human, Wynter doesn’t feel that same pull. When Wynter ventures into the forest in search of Bryn, the strong hands of a silver-haired boy capture her, calling her the name Grace and declares himself a part of The Light. All Wynter wants is to rid his unforgettable face from her mind, but she can't seem to do that when he is captured and brought into the pack. Bryn and Wynter are burdened with the task of keeping watch of him—in their own home.
