Dragons had always been feared by mankind. They were feared by the elves whose skill with a bow and who's knowledge of magic were unmatched. They were feared by the Dwarves whose weapons were made of the finest, strongest metals you could get. They were . They had been feared ever since life existed. For centuries mankind had no way of protecting. None of the weapons they created could pierce the Dragons tough scales. Whenever dragons attacked a civilization most of the population would be decimated.

The world's war against dragons has been going on for generations, but no one knows why they fought. After years of fighting a new species emerged, shapeshifters. They were able to shift between a dragon and human form, making them impossible to find. Everyone referred to them as halflings, half dragon and half human. They were said to have wondrous abilities ranging from an armor like pelt to healing powers. These abilities made them prized creatures and wanted across all lands. Those that were discovered usually ended up as pets or fighters in arena's. After five years of their existence they all went into hiding, fearing what the humans did to those that had been captured. They were taught at a young age to never show what they could do to a human, as it would lead to being caught and possibly killed. The Realm is but part of a large continent.with vast forests, huge mountain ranges ,and large plains.many lakes,rivers and streams,are scattered throughout the Realm. The original inhabitants of The Realm were Elves,(true bloods), their called,live in the Golden forest North east of the humans capital, called Aster. They keep mostly to them selves and the outside world.there are other tribes of elves known as half-breeds,they live as nomads and trade often with the other civilized people of the Realm,and many live in the cities and towns with humans.
