"What if you don't come back to me?" I asked him despite my better judgement. I had cried enough for one day, but that didn't make the tears stop. No, it only made them fall faster.
"I'll always come back to you." I flung myself into his arms and held on as tightly as I possibly could. His arms went around my torso and he pulled me even closer to him. What if I never get to have this again? What if I never get to have this feeling of being in his arms again?
There was a spark from the moment Justin's eyes met Annabelle's. They knew they had something special from the very beginning, but Annabelle does her best to avoid her feelings in fear of what could happen. Well, fate has other ideas. Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasn’t come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first. But little did I know that today was the day that my life would change. It was the day I met her. ---------- A short story. Hey guys! This is my first try writing a pure romance story.
