"That's the thing about depression: A human being can survive almost anything, as long as she sees the end in sight. But depression is so insidious, and it compounds daily, that it's impossible to ever see the end. The fog is like a cage without a key."
                      -Elizabeth Wurtzel
Trey is that above average guy that everyone has had in their class. He gets accepted into Yale University and plans to Master in 'Engineering and Applied Sciences'. Trey even got a full ride scholarship, with the exception of tuition for a Doctoral degree. The only thing that is he is moving across the country to New Haven, Connecticut away from his life. He'd have no friends there, no family, nothing, and Trey doesn't handle things like this well, mentally. Plus, Trey realizes that with all his over-achieving academically he's deprived himself of a social life. What better place to get one in college?
