The International Vocal Compitition has always taken place at a high school this year it's coming to Hamilton High, school for the talented.
Meet Hedda Collins. 18 year old girl who's on her last year of high school and god she can't wait to leave that hell hole. She doesn't really have a problem with her classes but the occasional bullying and stereotype groups of Jocks and Cheerleaders is why she can't wait to get out.
But she's got a secret and that secret is that she can sing and I don't mean like just sing where you're kinda good but the singing when you open your mouth and everyone's attention is drawn to you and you only. Afterall how would you get into a school for talented people if you had no talent.
Now put in Greg Atkins 18 year old boy who attracts attention of his good looks and nice voice. He's rich and he holds The International Vocal Compitition every year in different schools. He's looking for great teen singers that he can travel the road with.

We all have that one dream that we desperately want to come true, don't we? I know I do, my name is Clementine Meadows or at least I've made it to be. My real name on my birth certificate is Amelia Rogers, I never particularly cared for the name my parents bestowed upon me, so I changed it in high school. But I should get back to the true point in this, description, or explanation, whichever. My dream is to be the merch girl for Sleeping With Sirens, I won't lie it mostly has to do with being close to Kellin Quinn, my one and only true love. But also to spend Warped Tour with a band I love on a tour I've felt I was meant to be on. Only I don't get exactly what I wanted. No, instead I'm stuck with some no name band, from Tampa, Florida. I mean who gives a damn about Set It Off? Who are they really? Does it matter? Of course, by the end of the tour, I'll learn they'll be more to me than I ever expected. Set It Off is a real band, as well as each of the band members, Cody Carson, Austin Kerr, Dan Clermont, Maxx Danziger, Zach Dewall, as well as their wonderful tour manager, Andrew Cramb. I would like to point out, that none of the guys are they way they are made out to be in this story, they are not jerks, actually they are the opposite, there wonderful and huge sweethearts. A girl named Selena, 15 years old, is basically like your real life Cinderella. Mean step-mother, and mean step-sisters. She does basically everything Cinderella would do. But, she just doesn't put up with being treated like crap at home by her step-mother and step-sisters. She gets bullied by a popular group at school, with the group containing 5 boys: Nathan Sykes, Jay McGuiness, Siva Kaneswaran, Max George, and Tom Parker. Everyone basically just falls at their feet. Girls drool over them, and boys want to be them. Ever since they started at Allenwood Academy, and she met them, they've hate her, and she hates them too. Allenwood Academy announces that they will be having their 50th annul Masquerade Ball. Selena hasn't gone ever since she started at Allenwood Academy, but her 2 best friends convince her to go this year. Selena gives in, and goes. What she doesn't know, is that she dances with one of her enemeys: 15 year old Nathan Sykes. She leaves after she dances with him, because she wasn't aloud to go, under her step-mothers orders. When she goes to leave, her mask falls off when she turns around. Nathan picks it up, and runs after her, but it's too late, because she's gone. The next day, Nathan tries to find the girl he danced with the previous night, by asking all the girls at Allenwood if it was their mask. Little did he know, that his last choice was Selena. Will Nathan stop bullying her, or will he bully her more? Will her step-mother find out that she left the house? Will Selena get pulled out of Allenwood? What will her step-mother do to her? Caleb has a gift: He can sing. But not sing just like any other kid, he might as well be the next pop star of the century. But... no one knows about it because he sings in secret. Why, you ask? Well, it's because he doesn't want others to know him. He's extremely shy. Yep that's right. Caleb is just as shy as how much he loves to sing. His introverted self doesn't allow him to just sing whenever he wants. So he finds time whenever he's alone. When at last everyone leaves him alone, oh how amazing and wonderful his voice echoes out all along the walls of anywhere he can be alone. His amazing talent, however, one day lures in an audience. Together with his newfound 'friend' sworn to keep his singing secret, they find a way to make Caleb's talent known and help him finally face his demons: attention. ----------------------------------------------------------- This is my first attempt at a short story.
