The Chaos Avatar

Over Ten Thousand years ago, Avatar Wan, the first Avatar, and the spirit of light, Raava, defeated and imprisoned Vaatu, the spirit of darkness. With him locked away behind the Tree of Time, the world was safe from his tyranny. Or so they thought.

Before the final battle of good vs. evil, Vaatu had split his body in two, so while one half of himself was locked away while his other half roamed the mortal world, far from the reaches of anyone. From then on, the clone had been in a deep dormant start, wandering the world and watching it continue to evolve with each passing Avatar. It all changed when it came across a young child that caught its attention.

This child was Roy, who continued to grow with a dark spirit dwelling within him. He was gifted with the power to bend light and shadows. There was even a power that no bender had ever possessed: he possessed the powers of the ancient warriors that fought alongside Wan in the fight of light and darkness. He also has a special power that only one person should ever have in existence and that's the avatar. This is a secret that he's kept hidden for most of his life and won't hesitate to kill someone to make sure it stays a secret. With his career as a mercenary for hire, he's been able to stay unnoticed by others so no one can ever know what he can do. But how would this change if he and Korra meet? Would it be another fateful clash of light and darkness... Or something else entirely?
