I felt my legs getting weaker as I ran. I knew I couldn't keep this up much longer. I looked behind me to see if were still following me.

My name is Alicia Fae and I'm a neko, which is the term we use for the Kitsune hybrids. I'm on the run from the Guardian of the Veneficus Regale ( royal wizards ) who rule over everyone. With a team of misfits: an ex guardian James, who's always being an ass; another neko Dalton, who's mute; and a Seer Lucy, who's very strange. To add to this crazy mix, the Rebellion wants us to join them. We also happen chased a bounty hunter. Why me?
