During a massive drought, a Water Witcher goes trekking across several states to visit a friend but finds himself in danger when a group called The Hounds begins hunting him down. 𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙠 1 ~ 🅦🅐🅣🅔🅡 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨 Corbin has been witching water since he was a young boy. It's a skill his grandfather taught him to survive living in a time of thirst. He also taught him never to venture farther than their property because the world had become too dangerous with people fighting over water. As an adult, however, he finds himself alone. The home he once shared with his grandfather feels more like an empty shell with echoes of memories. Deciding to head for the road to visit a friend, he sets out to wander what's practically become a wasteland. Except, he soon discovers that since his last adventure north, Water Witchers are being captured and sold to high bidders by a group called The Hounds. I will be crafting a story and updating it daily based on the prompts, which will be used as chapter headings. Join me on this journey! We begin with our main female character, Juliette, as she tries to inconspicuously buy groceries in her hometown, hoping not to run into anyone familiar as she grapples with her recent loss. You look back out the glass as you press the phone to your ear, and notice he is much closer to you now. You then drop the phone in shock. There are no footprints in the snow... It's his reflection. Strange but Thrilling Stories from a Sophomore Writing Class by PaulKipIII

As the title suggests, these are short stories I managed to write in my Creative Writing class when I was a sophomore. So, with hormones and imagination flying, I wrote 7 stories in a 6 month period that include a scientist's fantastic invention, a War of the Worlds inspired story, a disguised gangster who encounters the officer hunting him down, and a man trying to survive a psycho with a man-eating dog. My teacher liked them, even giving me a school award for these stories in creative writing, so I leave them to you to see if you agree with him. Of course, it's been at least 2 years since these have been written, but I promise nothing but thrills and a non-stop ride of stories to keep you up at night and keep you turning the page for more.

" He gently strokes my arm and feel myself weakening by every touch. Right now, I want him more than ever. "Have you gotten it all figured out?" I ask him breathlessly. "Not all of it, but I couldn't stand another second away from you." "Good answer." I lean in and our lips touch. I've missed this, I've missed him. The past weeks have been so confusing for me. Thomas suddenly stopped calling and texting me. He wouldn't answer my calls and texts. I felt used and stupid. Like maybe Steven was right. What was I thinking? I was never really good enough for him. But right now, I know Thomas means what he said. "You wanna get out of here?"Thomas whispers breathlessly, our foreheads leaning on each other.
