Romance
Mickie's a 18 year old girl who's never been in love. She's too shy for her own good, to smart for love. But that's what she thinks. Jay's a 19 year old boy who thinks he has life all planned and figured out for him. he's got it all, girls all over him at his feet begging. But he's never loved anyone before. He craves it, to love someone so much it physically hurts. That's until they cross paths at a concert and what they don't know is there lives will be changed forever. "Mickie please stop!" "Mickie!" "Mickie!" He bellows after me as I continue to run. Rain pours from the sky in heaps. My red satin dress soaked from the rain. My hair hangs in clumps around my shoulders. I stopped to have a breather and he finally catches up to me. His crisp cut suit glistened wet from the rain. Drops of rain fall from his chocolate brown hair. His mouth slightly parted. I stared up to look at him. He looked confused and angry. I interrupted the silence quietly saying "Jay I'm sorry I ran away I just needed to leave". He still had this look of fury ."Jay you can't do this you just ruined everything." "Me and Mark were happy you can't just come and ruin that." "You decided to leave and I moved on." the last words making me come to near tears. He walks slowly toward me asking for my hand. The rain was pouring, but he didn't seem fazed. He brought me close and ballroom danced me, twirling me round. I stifled a laugh by how good he was at this. He smiles and moves closer towards me. He whispers in my ear, "Mickie we were never done." "I came back for you, I never moved on" those words making me feel warm. He brings me close and gently whispers " "..I still love you" "I love you" I look up to him and I see the pain and desire burning in his hazel eyes. He leans in to kiss me and I pull back, not wanting to. He looks confused, then says calmly with lust in his eyes "Mickie just go with flow" making shivers run up my neck. He leans to kiss me, and our lips connect.

He once told me no one knows the real him.I didn't think he meant it, and not in a good way. He is a straight A student, and everyone knows it, not to mention he is on the swim team. All that though isn't the real him, the real him hides deep within himself. ---------- "Can you please tell me what that was?" I nearly shout at him. All I get is silence. He keeps his back to me. "Please, I need some explanation." I beg. I stay still as he stops dead in his tracks. His body is tense and it's scarring me. He turns around slowly to face me with his hands at his sides. His eyes meet mine, but there is no spark of any emotion in them. They are cold and dark making me look away not being able to hold his deadly stare. I feel uneasy under his gaze, and i feel his eyes burning a hole in the side of my face. "No, I won't explain because it's not important." He says in a low, almost, growl. I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?" He questions raising an eyebrow at me. "You haven't hurt me." "Yet." He mutters, but I roll my eyes.
