Normal is a funny thing. When someone is normal, they do normal things. Think, walk, talk, and act the same way. They don't always act the exact same way or think the exact same things, but you get the general idea.

Brush my teeth, get dressed, go to school and do homework. That's what my life was about, occasionally going to parties. But when a new kid comes to school and turns your world upside down, your best friend turning into your enemy. And me, turning into something that isn't exactly human. Things could get pretty strange. Especially with a life like mine. It would take a lot of work to actually survive, but to live at the same time is just exhausting. But it's all worth it. I can now call my life one word: Unpredictable.Complete

I'm different from all of you. I don't know how, or why or why my genetics are different. All I know is that there are people like me, people hiding from a group called Ultra. Everyone was the same. You wake up, change into the same outfit, and then go to school. Society made you all equal, so no person was different from another. If you were strange, you were diagnosed as a Different. For everyone was to wear the same things, act the same, and love the same. A normal person would fall in love after they were twenty to someone of the opposite gender. Marriages were considered a hassle, so you would not have a ceremony, just decide if you wanted to be married or not. Once married, there was no divorcing. For if you were not normal, you'd be coded. Normals wear white, Differents wear black.Complete
What One Calls Strange
Normal has a different definition for everyone. A house, a family, friend's, work. They all define normal. It's human nature to fear change. And that's exactly what I felt. Until that change became my life.Complete
