20 year old Skylar (also known as Irisyo) is found bloody and beaten by Mathew Murdock and brought to an abandon warehouse where she knows everything about everyone, including Matt's identity. She doesn't know how she got the information, but she knows critical information that could end them and their enemies.
Jessica's not big on the idea of inviting random beaten stranger and believing their every word without question, but Luke talks her into it and explains that they have nothing else to go off of and a lot of people will die if they don't put an end to The Hand once and for all.
When a old organization comes back and teams with The Hand the Defenders must split apart and try and locate Wilson Fisk's deaf adoptive daughter, Maya Lopez, who is in Tokyo, Japan. All while trying to get to the bottom of this new organization that goes by the name of SEVENTEEN.
Matt doesn't want to go to Japan to find Maya in fear of getting emotional reattached to Maya after a bad ending to their relationship.
The Iron Fist is finally finding some closure in his parents death after a secret that nearly tore apart the squad piece by piece.
Carefully shooting in the dark Irisyo must watch her connections and try to cease the deep void of her Clinical Depression.
