She rides for weeks where she stumbles upon a supposed abandoned castle, where a Beastly master resides. But instead of taking her captive, he offers her room and board for as long as she pleases. Giving her the choice to leave...or stay. Roses tells the story of 2 people banned from civilization, but much like the rose itself, still finding joy and tender love beneath both the beautiful and beastly surfaces. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This retelling of the story Beauty and the Beast is set in the beautiful Emerald Isle of Ireland in the Regency Era and is a fresh new take on the traditionally 18th-century French tale.
