Rain isn't like the other first year students attending Hogwarts. She's from the 'wrong side' of the wizarding community, and none of the students can understand why she was ever admitted to Hogwarts when none before had been. Despite this, she becomes close friends with Harry, Hermione, and Ron. When questions begin to arise, and suspicion is aroused, Rain's loyalty is questioned.
