Following the tales of a few West Virginians after the eruption of the Yellowstone Caldera, there will be tragedy and strife, a darkened void within a deep cavern. This is a truth that Bobby learned all too well. The one he loved taken, betrayed by the one he admired, he has endured more than most. But there are others that know his pain, and have a singular goal in mind. Will they attain their goal and secure some semblance of stability in this ashen world, or will they succumb to the ash beneath their feet?
