The Hourglass Staircase

In the future, feminists have overtaken Australia. It is now a police state, where ninety percent of men have been killed off. The remaining men live in slave camps, drugged each night to keep them compliant. Each day they are taken into the city, where they mindlessly work, doing all the jobs the women don't want to do. They are also subject to daily abuse. Then one man's drugs stop working, and he begins waking to the horror all around him, and feeling love for the first time.
