He is put asleep by a spell cast by the mischievous White Rabbit, and he falls down. Reaching Wonderland, he meets the Absolute Magician, who comments on his extraordinary incompetence.
Angered, he unknowingly used magic to blast the Absolute Magician away. Shocked, he turns and runs into the Forest of Forgetting.
