To any average person, Adelynn looked like she had the best life in the world. She had amazing grades, A whole bunch of friends, a nice job at the old retirement home, She was very beautiful, and had a lot of people that had crushes on her.
However, those things are different in her eyes. She had amazing grades so she could get scholarships because her family couldn't afford for her to go to college, most of her friends only wanted to hang out with her because she was popular, she had to get a job because she needed money really bad, and a lot of the people at her school only liked her because of her looks.
But that is all about to change when she is on her way home, and some people are following her a little too closely.

There wasn't really anything all that special about me. I considered myself an average person with average looks. That being said, I also considered myself a very gaunt person. I was sort of a nerd. Not like a big 'ooooh, look at him, with his glasses, pocket protector and retainer', I of course had never worn any of those things. I'm a quiet type of nerd .
