The story takes place between chapters 6 and 7 of Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom. 

Roland finds himself coming up with a plan to help Evan and the team bring Ding Dong Dell to sign The Declaration of Interdependence. He can't seem to figure out why Leander is so keen on helping the team out despite being loyal to Hydropolis. Is there something behind the Cloak? ;)

It is pronounced Shen-yu and I suppose I could have written it as such but I liked the look of Shenju much better.
