I stopped reading and stared at him. He stared back at me. We continue to stare at each other and he finally said, " Will you go to the ball with me?"
"What?!" I said.
He rolled his eyes and said, "Will you?"
I tilted my head and said slowly, "I think I'll have to think about it for a month."
He laughed and said one more time, "Miss Riddle, will you go to the ball with me?"
I stayed silent for a while to get him frustrated and said, "I think-" I was cut off by his lips. He kissed me like he loved me for years and pinned my hands on top of my head. I started to kiss back he broke the kiss and said, "See, can't reject me, can you? " I rolled my eyes and said, "You didn't even let me finish my sentence."
