Cristiano Ronaldo è nato il 5 febbraio 1985 in Portogallo cresce nell'Andorinha, dove comincia a giocare all'età di 7 anni, squadra in cui suo padre faceva il magazziniere.
I ragazzi di dodici anni già all'epoca volevano giocare assieme a loro e pare non passasse mai la palla.
Nel 1995 si trasferisce al Nacional, che ne rileva le prestazioni in cambio di due mute di divise nuove. 
Due anni più tardi, a 12 anni, approda allo Sporting Lisbona in cambio di € 12 000, divenendo il ragazzino più pagato del Paese.
Gioca per cinque anni nelle giovanili della squadra e dimostra presto il proprio talento.
Esordisce in prima squadra durante una gara contro l'Inter, valevole per il terzo turno preliminare della Champions League 2002-2003. 
Nella sua prima stagione allo Sporting Lisbona colleziona 25 presenze in campionato, di cui 11 da titolare, vincendo la Supercoppa portoghese 2002, pur non giocando la partita.Tous Droits Réservés
