Thrud é um soldado imperial. Ele mora no pacato vilarejo de Miravel, no interior do Império Yldariano, na província de Gahmid. Ele imaginava que teria uma vida pacífica, só protegendo o Império, mas estava enganado.  À serviço do rei, o garoto e mais outros soldados teriam que entregar uma mensagem ao rei de Trakkar.  Teriam uma aventura pela frente, pois para chegarem a Trakkar rápido, precisariam passar pelo reino dos Kreelas (monstros que habitam a floresta). Esta mensagem era muito sigilosa, e nem eles poderiam saber sobre o que ela se tratava. Mas será que ela era tão importante mesmo?
