When bounty hunter Isaac Harris visits the suburban home of Tia Forest, he brings a brigade of marines with him in order to extract the dangerous alien life form living there: Tia's fiance Alexander. After unleashing a vicious military raid, Isaac hauls his struggling target away just as the General in charge of the operation arrives on the scene: Tia's own estranged father.
Forced to accompany her father back to his military compound for 'decontamination', Tia witnesses brutal tests being performed on Alex and desperately seeks the opportunity to free her lover. But the charming bounty hunter manages to foil her every attempt, with powers that are not entirely of this world.
Elsewhere, Alex's capture has infuriated some very powerful individuals; from the comfort of their alien battle cruiser Kala and Leonidas observe the savage treatment Alex is receiving at the hands of the military and vow to bring it to an end by any means necessary.
After his own military medics fail to produce results, the General brings in an outside specialist, a Professor whose experience with the Roswell debris makes him uniquely qualified. But when he comes to form a trust with his alien subject and with Tia, the Professor becomes a sympathetic wild card that the General can not tolerate.
Kala and Leo touch down on Earth, making quick work of human defenses, just as the Professor triggers a massive explosion, crippling the military installation and setting Alex free.
Aliens, humans and everyone in between are forced to choose sides and square off in a devastating battle as Tia learns that she is more than just human... she's the key to peace between two alien civilizations that have been at war for decades.
And without her, it's a war that Earth can only lose.

It's divided into three main sections, the city, the framlands, and the Lowers. The people are divided into three groups as well, Uppers, Middles and Lowers. Uppers are made of elite scientist, Astro-crops, bureaucrats they made up about 3% of the population. The Middles are are the farmers, the guard, teachers, doctors, the food processors, clothes makers and of course the mechanical maintenance workers. They make-up the 97% of the 10,000 counted citizens. The lowers are criminals and children born to un-paired parents. They live separated from the middles and Upper. In lowers you work in water reclamation or in one of the fish farms that supply protein to the ship. In the year 2149 Dylan De Rovia is trying to wrap her head around the idea that in two year's she'll be paired. That they call marriage on the Ark. Pairing is good most who are paired do end-up staying together because while genetics play good part in determining a match so does personality. Some people choose to use spend this time having a good time with as many partners as possible. Dylan however, vowed that she would never fall in love with anyone before pairing. The universe had other plans however, when Dylan learns that she'll pair with an Upper named Kyive Sinclar life gets more complicated than ever.
