All my life I ran away.
When things got tough my fight or flight instincts kicked in, and I always knew which I would choose. Fighting got me no where. I would rather be a coward then fight battles that got me no where. No where but pain and misery.
But for once, I don't want to run. For once, I want to stay. But what will it cost?
Weighing up my options, I realise that there is no place for me. Wherever I go there will always be the same people. The people that want me gone, and despise me for reasons even I don't know. I can change how I look but I can't change my luck.
And as I stare into my dieing friends faces, I realise there's only one thing I can do.
The one thing I do best.
And so I turn,
and run away.
Join one of our favourite ALWL characters Akatsuki in her story where she relives her horrific past and tackles new problems ahead. With her ghosts always chasing her can she survive the threat of the past that might just repeat itself? Have you ever met someone who alters the course of your life? For good or for bad, they've come in, given and taken, and then- BOOM! Your life was never the same.
