Haunted by the Past

Anastasia Saunders lived a relatively happy, normal life. She joined the military after graduation from high school and went through two deployments during the first few years of her military career. Unfortunately, the last deployment ended in disaster and left her suffering from the aftermath. A few years after the incident and she has finally decided to get back into a "normal" routine. The past still haunts her and causes her to have problems, though.

However, an unlikely source enters her life and ends up helping her in ways that no one has been able to before. Despite rising tensions, emotional breakdowns, and having to work through a painful past, Anastasia learns how to overcome her obstacles. At the same time, she grows closer to the person she least expects, building something that can ultimately save both of them.
