Many things fall. Such as heros. All heros eventually fall. Some because of a villian. But America? No, this hero was falling to something else. Something worst. Something more painful. Sweet Devil!AU War was taken out on earth between Hell and Heaven. Hell wanted a stronger, larger army and the pure to suffer. Heaven wanted to save the pure from the claws of the Devils whenever the souls of the pure were on their path to heaven. The sinners were immediately sent to hell. Alfred was pure. He was killed by protecting his younger brother, and he was only nineteen. An arch angel was sent to retrieve his soul, one of the purest souls to be seen in years. That had meant that whichever way he was taken, Alfred would be powerful. The angel lost to several demons who sought after Alfred's soul, and Alfred was taken to hell, where he became the Demon King, or King of Hell. Many decades later, Arthur, an angel, is captured and dragged down to hell. The King of Hell takes a great liking to said Angel, who strives to return home to heaven. Alfred and Arthur had been dating for a little while, but now they had been just drifting apart. They didn't feel the same way they did when they first started dating, the spark was gone. or so they thought. They bickered and fought over everything nowadays. {STORY DISCONTINUED and I'm probably never gonna finish it whoops} The world is ending, obviously. America never really paid attention to the news, only Good Morning America, of course, but when the flooding and crippling storms started in the south and worked their way to D.C., he got nervous. There were warnings, scientists predicted the amount of blah, blah, science, science, random crap, big words. . . World catastrophe. The Storm. Bunkers and shelters were built, supplies were stocked, factories and farmers worked around the clock before the Storm could hit them. One might think the United States was prepping for war, and in a way, they were. They had to fight for their lives. Alfred is alone in a bunker, panicking for his people and brothers and the rest of the countries like Japan and Germany. He hears a distant muffled sound above the howling winds, a frightened little boy sits in the corner with an old stuffed bunny sucking his thumb. No one notices him. How is America supposed to protect hundreds of people and himself against a storm that could kill people in a number of ways? And now a kid had moved him to become his caretaker. When Alfred became independent from England, France had muttered to him that he didn't know the pain of raising a child then losing it. But know, he assumes that he may just learn.
