The Crownless Lands
Welcome, traveler. Step into the Crownless Lands-a realm that should have been golden but never was. The maps still show grand borders; the songs still promise glory. But up close you'll find frayed banners, broken vows, and people trying to live between the teeth of history. Here, adventurers hunt fortunes that refuse to be found. Heroes rise late or fall early. Lives are traded, stolen, and sometimes-miraculously-saved. And the creatures? Some stalk the roads and terrorize the villages. Others arrive with a lesson sharp as a blade. Fall of the Deodiesh

Yet, his background is that of a 'slave'-warrior within the ranks of the southerners. Making a run back for his homeland, he must combine his two pasts to forge a greater-self. A Dragon-Speaker, a singular elf, and his own kin will be his only friends. However, all of them have different goals and desires away from his own. Not even friends have Deodland's survival as their priority. Only time will tell if he can forge a land worthy of surviving.

Author's note: I know I know, I put an Author's note in here already saying I was going to try to maintain one chapter a month. But unfortunately, the fascism is getting to me, and I (very unfortunately) am under govt. contract, so it is taking me a while to get through these, while editing plus proof reading, and doing literally everything else. Your understanding and patience does not go unnoticed. I appreciate you all taking the time to read my book. It is still going, even if there hasn't been updates in months. This party of four have been living in my head over a decade they have to come out. TLDR Fascism is kicking my ass. No, I'm not dead. No I didn't give up on the book.
