Grande Jeté: (GräN ZHe tā)
noun. /ballet/

A big leap in which a dancer goes from one leg and lands gracefully on the other

Dancing has been Ivy's life for as long as she can remember. She didn't have a normal childhood because she was too busy taking as many dance classes as she possibly could. Dancing wasn't forced upon her, it was embedded in her DNA. Nothing stopped her from touring the world with her dance co at the age of 16 so obviously nothing could stop her from majoring in dance at college (despite her mother's pleas to major in anything other than dance) It only made sense for her to open her own dance studio and encourage others to pursue it the same way she did.

That was 3 years ago and now her classes are full and lively. She has a waiting list for every class and remembering the names of her dancers is close to impossible. (Not that she'd be great at remembering anyway. She's terrible with names)

Ivy feels like she's got it all, except she doesn't. She's still in the same position she's been in since she was 3 years old. She's happy in the dance studio and unhappy every where else. Dancing may have saved her life at 16, but it's going to take a mother, a handsome dad and a sweet little girl to save her at 24.

This is her big leap. Her Grande Jeté. And her landing has never been graceful.

Rich People Problems

52 parts Complete Mature

As much as Kimberly Astor hated to admit it, she had a slight problem. Okay, so it was theoretically a major problem, but it wasn't entirely her fault. Okay, so it was her fault, (at least to a certain extent, according to her) but her dad didn't need to be all rude about it. He especially did not need to threaten her future role as CEO on it too. And, setting up an arranged marriage to fix said 'problem' is so out of proportion. Okay, it wasn't completely out of proportion, but still. Jace Kingston didn't know what he was getting into when he agreed to be married to a 'problematic heiress'. He certainly was not expecting a sexy vixen, who was hellbent on getting on his nerves and destroying the semblance of normalcy he established in his complex life. So, when the two come together to form a business alliance, they make a simple plan. 1. Fix the problem. 2. Don't ever bring up personal things. 3. Get out. Too bad breaking the second rule is making the third rule look a lot more... difficult.
