A Dark Life

Beth- A teenage girl who has a crazy mother who has no interest in her, whatsoever, and a father who just recently was found guilty for murder.
Dakota- A senior boy who watches out for Beth, and tries to make sure nothing happens, without him knowing. His father though is praying that Dakota does not make the same mistake he did- choosing not to go to college, over love. He's pushing Dakota to the limits, and he can't stand it. His mother on the other hand died when he was only two in a fire.
They both crave something, something they both don't have...freedom.
