In a world where superpowers can only be obtained by an illegal and dangerous serum, people with these powers are scarce, and children are experimented on to test said powers, a group of ten people - powerless and not, heroic and villainous - team up to stop a power hungry force growing in their city.
There's only one problem: they all hate each other.
They've been fighting against one another for years. And teamwork is not something any of them have powers for.
The only reason villains and heroes would team up with each other is because their city is in danger. And, as it turns out, their city is in danger. Major danger.
But sometimes things turn out different than expected. Sometimes your enemies end up being your only allies. Even if you despise them. Even if they're still upset over the time you broke their back. Or threw them into a trash can. Or hurtled them into a building. Or hypnotized them.
Or just tried to kill them in general.
It'll turn out great. Definitely.

On Twitter I made yet again another au. Each person who participated in this made characters for the story, either based off their personas or made completely new (I'm pretty sure all of them are completely new? I'm not 100% on that though).

Ever wonder where supervillains go after their fight with the hero? What about the other side of the story? It's not like they sit in their lair cackling all day and planning how to kidnap reporters. What about the lives they lead? And instead of just focusing on that, what if the superhero and the supervillain knew each other? I mean, can they see behind the mask? No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride. And if any of you got any of the references in this description, give yourself a pat on the back. That is a beautiful thing.
