Welcome to my first story, a complete cringe/cliche fest. Alex Hubert, a high schooler living in Panice, a city in Baguette Lan-- France. (Fictional city because geography is hard) If there's one thing he loves, it's books. All conveniently located in the 'library' inconspicuously outside his home city. Privacy is provided in the deal for free books all over the world, other than a docile damsel watching over him. Working/Living with her is Sohta, a spindly french-speaking monsieur who seems to be here for no apparent reason. Meanwhile, life at home is bleak. Just the way he likes it. The house's current inhabitants are Alex, his grandpa, and possibly crickets from all the silence. Maybe his college sister could 'up the tempo' if she came back...
